Michael loved life and lived it to the fullest. He did more in his short 27 years than most do in a full lifetime. He will be missed terribly by all those whose lives he touched.

Memories of Michael

Burke Family,

I worked with Mike at Accenture and Blue Cross Blue Shield over a couple year period. I was able to make it to the funeral yesterday and thought that it was extremely fitting for such a great man.

I thought that the urn and flowers in front of the church were so fitting. My best memories with Mike were related to the Cardinals and Hawkeyes. I can't tell you the amount of times and Mike and I met up for a beer during Illinois v. Iowa matchups or Cubs v. Cards games. I have been a die hard cubs and illini fan and haven't known anyone as fun to have a rivalry with than mike. Whether we were watching on a random night or a big saturday weekend game, he always knew how to discuss the rivalries intelligently and the respect we had for each other was great. I just wish I could see him dress up in his Green leisure suit one last time as St. Patty's day this year was the last time I was blessed to spend some time with him. He was such a great person and I'll never forget him.

My deepest condolences,
Steve Inman
