Michael loved life and lived it to the fullest. He did more in his short 27 years than most do in a full lifetime. He will be missed terribly by all those whose lives he touched.

Memories of Michael

Mike was a wonderful person to work with. He always had a smile on his face and was willing to help. I first met Mike during the summer of 2000 as we were both interns with Anderson Consulting. When I came back to work for Accenture full-time in the fall of 2002, Mike was staffed at HCSC where I ended up going as well. I remember seeing him at the Halloween party; he was dressed as a Ghostbuster. He approached me first as he recognized my face from a few years back. Later, we led the Recognition and Morale Teams to make HCSC and Accenture a great place to work and to recognize people for going above and beyond. He participated in these "extra curriculars" in addition to being a high performer on his project ... sometimes I'd wonder where he got the energy.

I remember running into Mike on the red line of the L in Chicago (prior to his move to NYC) when he was heading home from church choir practice or when I went to Mike's desk at HCSC, I saw pictures of family members. He was the hard working, loyal, good guy who you wanted to work with and hang out with. I saw in Mike some of the same qualities that I love in my husband.
